One of the best things about a month away was a) my personal insta got locked and I can’t access so I’ve given it up. B) I didn’t miss Twitter. Anyone who fancies connecting I’ll just be on Insta under my business account and doing it all there Instagram.com/lowtoxlife/

@TennisPodcast And look at the totally decent time the men’s finals are the next day. Women and men should have played same day for day/afternoon.

@TennisPodcast Sorry. Clearly just woken up at the time but meant 11.30 Rome time and meant women’s final. But tweet still stands. Appalled at treatment of female athletes both in Madrid for dubs final/no speech debacle and now this time for a women’s masters final.

@TennisPodcast I am gobsmacked to have woken up at 7.30am in Sydney, 11.30pm in time, to see the women’s dubs only just warming up. How awful for both of them. An after thought it seems, women tennis players in Italy.

@InteBNLdItalia @WTA What on earth is a women’s final starting at this hour for? They are elite athletes who deserve respect and an 11pm start time ain’t that.

@MaiselTV @PrimeVideo Well it was worth the delay. Such a good episode. One of my top 5 I reckon!

@kayosports Hi. Can u explain why I can watch @atptour live Rome, but the @WTA is time delay and I can’t watch the world No1 playing her match right now, live? Part of female athletes getting equal pay is equal access to viewers to raise profile/eyeballs on women’s sport!

@hubermanlab I’d say diversity is partly due to people becoming more aware of how much the funding can influence a published outcome. To increase trust in science we need to reverse citizen’s United, have fully disclosed funding, see more PhD vs PhD public debate& see the whole study unedited

I often see posts about how entire fields were wrong and/or how people’s own experience differed from what the published trials would suggest. Or posts that only RCTs matter. It seems there is tremendous diversity of trust in one vs another type of data as a means of informing personal choice. The last few years seems to have heightened this diversity (but I have no stats on that).

Always interesting to note the varying categories of evidence people require to adopt changes to their health protocols. Which are you? (Can be several). Type 1: only trust randomized controlled trial in humans. Type 2: trust mechanistic evidence in humans. Type 3: trust mechanistic evidence in mice/pre-clinical evidence. Type 4: trust in vitro (in a dish) work. Type 5: trust nothing but one’s own experience.

@MerriamWebster Hi team. My “practice quordle” is doing strange things. I have opened it 4 times this week and it’s already had 6-7 turns played that i didn’t play, and no words correct, which would never happen for me, and it contributes to my stats. Hoping this will be fixed pronto.
