🏆Congratulations to @EricPFChow @MSHCResearch @AlfredHealth and @Monash_FMNHS, who's been honoured by the #HealthServicesResearch community for "significant and lasting contributions" to improve the treatment, prevention and control of sexually transmitted infections. Eric is an internationally recognised mid-career epidemiologist with expertise in #HIV, #STIs, #PublicHealth and health services efficiency. As the world's second-most active author on STIs, this year Eric was awarded the @science_academy Gottschalk medal, and named the top researcher in Sex & Sexuality by the @australian. Happy 30th birthday to the Victorian Melanoma Service at The Alfred! Founded by Prof John Kelly (pictured with Prof Tori Mar), the VMS was one of the first Australian multidisciplinary cancer clinics, co-locating melanoma services and transforming the way patients received care.

Respiratory scientist Thomas was one of over 130 people to generously donate blood at The Alfred's Lifeblood pop up last week. The quarterly pop-up has now received almost 500 donations since last October, with a record number of 50 new donors attending last week.
