New paper lead by recent @peclabfiu graduate @s_luongo. We use energetics and telemetry to estimate consumption rates of Nassau grouper. @BahaNick For a lot of female scientists (particularly early-career) and maybe other minority groups, putting your name on the lab is the only way to stop people asking if you are a postdoc or who your PI is. So maybe weird for white men (like me), but understandable for many others.

Naming your lab after yourself is just weird.
