Press Release
No to Abraham Accords: PTI Calls for Principled Stand on Palestine
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf remains firmly committed to the principles of justice, peace, and stability in the Middle East. Under the leadership of Chairman Imran Khan, PTI has consistently advocated a principled foreign policy rooted in international law, human dignity, and solidarity with oppressed peoples.
Imran Khan has repeatedly emphasised Pakistan’s moral and diplomatic stance on the Palestinian cause, stating that true peace requires a viable and independent State of Palestine on the 1967 borders, with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital. He has noted, “Even if other countries recognise Israel, problems will keep festering unless Palestinians are given a just settlement, a viable state.” This position echoes the vision of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and upholds Pakistan’s longstanding commitment.
PTI’s position is unequivocal: we will not endorse and firmly reject any efforts or frameworks such as the Abraham Accords. This reflects our unwavering principles and deep solidarity with the Palestinian people.
The longstanding notation on Pakistani passports, valid for all countries except Israel, symbolises our national commitment to the Palestinian cause. PTI firmly supports maintaining this policy without compromise.
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf calls upon the Government of Pakistan to maintain absolute non-recognition of Israel and refuse to participate in, endorse, or engage with any normalisation frameworks such as the Abraham Accords under any circumstances. The Government must respect the sentiments of the Pakistani people, who have always stood with Palestine, and uphold our policy of complete non-recognition of Israel until a just and comprehensive resolution is achieved.
In light of recent statements by US President Donald Trump urging countries, including Pakistan, to join the Abraham Accords while noting that “one or two have a reason for not doing so, and that will be accepted,” PTI urges the Government to engage constructively with the United States. Pakistan should clearly convey its genuine, principled reasons for not participating, rooted in support for Palestinian rights, adherence to international law, and the sentiments of the Pakistani people. Our policy of complete non-recognition of Israel must remain fully intact.
We further urge the Government to contribute to humanitarian efforts, including the reconstruction of Gaza, and broader regional initiatives that promote prosperity, stability, and mutual respect. Enduring peace in the Middle East can only be achieved through a just, inclusive solution that upholds the dignity and legitimate rights of the Palestinian people.
PTI will continue to work with international partners and brotherly Muslim nations to advance these objectives, guided by equity, compassion, and respect for international law.

NEW:
🇮🇱🇱🇧 Channel 13 reports that Israel will continue to bleed against Hezbollah at a rate of 3 or 4 soldiers killed per week.
The problem in Lebanon is that every hill or high ground you control has another high ground behind it overlooking you.
Netanyahu is stuck in a political quagmire in Lebanon, and the military operation has no marketable objective.

NEW:
🇮🇱🇱🇧 Israel’s Minister of Finance, Bezalel Smotrich, openly declaring intentions of genocide against Lebanon:
“The most effective way to stop Hezbollah is simply to announce that for every FPV drone, 10 buildings in Beirut will be destroyed.
For example, if there were seven drones, then 70 buildings. If it were 15, then 150 buildings will be flattened.
And if the buildings in Beirut are all gone, then we move on to Tyre, Sidon, and the Beqaa Valley.”

🇺🇸🇮🇷 Megyn Kelly on people who voted for Trump and the war on Iran:
“It’s stunning to me that the people who voted for the man who said over and over not only no new wars, but no war with Iran, that those people on a dime were like yes, we’re pro war with Iran, Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon.
It’s so obvious that’s a lie to get us into this conflict. They were not on the verge of developing a nuclear weapon”
