Great graphic which emphasises the need to resist reductive explanations of behaviour. It’s also important to look after ourselves, as it’s harder to dig deeper and stay open and empathetic when we’re stressed.

@chrisdysonHT I had the AZ vaccine on Saturday and have been in bed since with a lots of the side effects . Shivers, fever , nausea, headache from hell and Intense fatigue . Not able to go to go to work today 😞 I had no choice about which vaccine to have so just had it🤞🤞

@autismsouthwest I agree 100% . Without the co- regulation and desire from adults to support children to understand and recognise their internal states it can be extremely difficult for children to use any emotional regulation strategies effectively .
