@secretHT1 In post as a new head since October waiting on Ofsted and I can’t remember the last time I slept properly. It’s awful.

The pressure of impending Ofsted is like nothing else. Since our inspection I sleep better, eat better and spend less money on ‘things’ to try boost my mood. My relationship with family is better. My heart rate is lower. The mental, and physical, toll is huge. Time for change.

@becky_bridges It was really high and then we started to track it and set sanctions for it. So we had a six stage system starting with a phone call home right up to an suspension. But parents are called by form tutors every time they truant

When leadership places the responsibility for behaviour solely on the shoulders of a behaviour lead instead of insisting that all members of SLT lead behaviour…
