Just to say that within minutes of Kate Kniveton having lost her seat, she messaged me to ask me to carry on her work on family courts. Not my party, but that my friends, is what a decent representative would do.

@AliMalsher @vcg239 No argument against MDTs. We all bring a skill set unique to our profession to the MDT
But absolutely no need to deny knowledge and expertise of a consultant- it doesn’t lessen knowledge of a CNS/ANP by acknowledging the years of medical education & experience consultants have.

@AliMalsher @vcg239 Yes but when a nurse is working as a specialist/advanced nurse, she is right in saying that the consultant knows more than her. The consultant sees the most complex patients and is there to give clinical advice.
Similarly a consultant can’t comment on nursing as not their field

I've been appalled at the way Post Office General Counsels acted as the legal heavy mob doing the dirty work for executives and silencing anyone who didn't toe the corporate line. Here's a lawyer who's even angrier about this than I am.
