Just saw Project Hail Mary for the second time. I can't remember the last time I saw a movie 2x in the theater. If you haven't seen it yet, see it, if you've seen it once, see it again. It has a wonderful humanity to it, which is odd given that the costar is an alien rock.

@AliReininger @chibbqk1ng It BY FAR is the best elevated Italian in the city since Spiaggia closed. Not for everyone, she only makes what she is feeling that day but the fresh rolled pasta is nonpareil.

People will pay $30+ for a spicy vodka pasta that’s easily replicated at home but will moan about paying the same price for a bowl of ramen they won’t come close to recreating on their own.

@chibbqk1ng Nobody should pay more than $25 for a pasta dish unless it is fresh made. Only 2 spots for that in Chicago - Monteverde and Tortello. i also have to take a shot at vodka sauce, what a fake Italian gimmick sauce. Italy will only do it for tourists who love their Mac n cheese.
