Onsite Opt-in has been available on @PostscriptIO for 2 years. But here's the truth: it became normalized so quickly, we've sucked at marketing it. OOI has become the standard for SMS marketing collection, and now it's available to use in @AliaLearn popups. Already seeing improvements in successful opt-in rates by up to 5x after moving from double opt-in to Onsite Opt-in. 3-5x more total SMS subscribers on your list. Think about that.

If you're an ecom operator and not using Onsite Opt-in you should be fired (or fire yourself). And if it's because your SMS/popup vendor doesn't have OOI, you need to fire them. Traditional SMS opt-in methods ('reply Y'), typically capture <65% of all phone numbers submitted in the popup. 100 shoppers submit phone number. 65 become verified subscribers (this is a very generous number btw). Not good. OOI converts at ~85-90%. Without OOI, your SMS channel is massively under-performing. You're fired.

I was off all social media for a while (5+ years) but realized I was probably missing out on business connections and decided to make an X account. Started following some ecom guys and ended up coming across @lilstass_. Was impressed with his work and thought his pricing was fair, so I decided to give him a shot and bring him on to run email for our 7-figure POD brand. In the past week we’ve done over $21k from flows alone, and over $91k from email in the month of November. If you’re running a 7 or 8 figure brand and under 30% of rev coming from email, you’re leaving a ton of money on the table. Popup from @AliaLearn and email from @lilstass_ is a cheat code.

@AliaLearn 0P data out here changing brands Starting working with this client last month, they were curious as to why their email engagement & conversion was so bad given their massive list size Conclusion: they need to split content based on customer Half their audience are kids, the other half parents Those 2 cohorts are completely different and require different angles We're now segmenting / splitting based on those customer tags Excited to see the effect over the next couple of months 🚀

When we review possible apps to use for our own brands, we take time to think about the long-term possibility of where the platform is going and from recommendations from other friends who own their own brands. I was a die hard fan of a popup tool we used to use, but was forced to change to a new one. Little did I know that this would create massive growth for our list pretty much overnight. It was on the 6th of August that we made the switch to Alia, and we saw a major increase in subscribers almost immediately. All we did was switch our popup provider. That’s it!! I couldn’t believe it. I’ve been super impressed with their team and then they decided to release a new tool that I got to play with and find it to be super intuitive and easy to use called Smart Testing. It’s trained on half a billion popup views, predicting which variations will drive more signups and revenue for your store. All you do is hit ‘yes’ or ‘no’ on the suggestions and watch the results roll in. One thing I love about it is that you are able to automate a list of tests that it recommends based on their 1,000+ brands they have data on, helping you continually optimize your opt in rate, which is one of the most important elements of seeing healthy subscriber numbers. I’m pretty happy that we moved to Alia and I’m bullish on them helping brands grow profitably and focus on what they do well and continue to double down on it day after day, week after week.
