It's official: we've got a date for the paraprofessional RESPECT check bill hearing! On Monday, March 9, the City Council Committee on Civil Service and Labor will hear arguments on our bill. The work we have put in together advocating for this bill is paying off 🙌 Once the hearing happens, the next step will be getting a vote from the full City Council to pass it into law. We have 21 Council Members signed on already.
