I have only one leader #Jesus! He is who I follow. I don't always get it right but because I love Jesus He lets me know when I am in the wrong. He convicts me, forgives me then let's me try again! That is his truth, grace and mercy.. He wants us all to come to repentance and recover from the devil's ways. By following Jesus our path's are made right/straight and true!

If there were perfect Christians we wouldn't need Jesus. Jesus was for the sinners. Which we all are... What we need is to share the gospel and try and bring as many to follow Christ as we can, that is very Biblical - and Trump is doing that! No human can save us, only Jesus can.

Trump may not be a perfect Christian (nobody is).
He may not even have all of the pieces of the puzzle together yet.
But he’s been a better friend to Christianity than any president in my lifetime.
Gone are the ambiguous “day of hope” messages.

Truth with Grace! We are to help each other get better. We are to tell the truth about sin but with grace for the repentant! Because we are all sinners none better than the other. When someone repents and turns from their evil ways there is value in them inspiring others to do the same! I pray for our world to repent and be filled with the Fruits of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience (forbearance), kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.

@CollinRugg In the days when I used to investigate public theft and misappropriation, the impetus was almost always a romantic interest/sidepiece, gambling debts, or drugs/alcohol. Or some combination. Very few of the thieves just wanted to buy new living room furniture.

JUST IN: Manhattan attorney sobs in court as he is sentenced in $4.4 million COVID fraud scheme.
Bryan McKenna was accused of siphoning money to fund his romance with his CEO girlfriend and for his son's mental health.
Assistant DA Jonathan Borle said McKenna used funds on his girlfriend, the CEO of AstZen Group, Duni Zenaye.
"Elkay Plastics, a packaging manufacturer and distributor, had contacted AstZen Group to buy 500,000 boxes of medical-grade latex gloves to use as PPE during the COVID-19 pandemic, and placed the $4.45 million into an escrow account run by McKenna," the New York Post reported.
"The attorney in January 2021 had agreed to hold the funds in escrow until AstZen Group shipped the gloves, but by April, he had drained the account dry, according to the indictment against him."
Prosecutors say McKenna used the money to further a romantic relationship and "benefit his personal life."
"I did these crimes, I deserve to go to jail… I don’t know what else to say for myself," McKenna said in court.
He was sentenced to between 2 and 6 years.

Govt already has environmental laws etc . What needs to happen is less nanny state but more enforcement of the rules and maybe some education about what they are..
Allow projects to proceed within the rules; however, we must be quick amd effective to respond to non-compliance with enforcement that makes not following the rules unprofitable! We shouldn't prevent legitimate and responsible progress. We just need to make being a bad actor unpleasant enough they the bad actors won't play!

I love nature... I love wildlife...started going to church again two years ago.. its hard to leave sometimes but then I remember it's not about me.. I can't help anyone if I am at home. And we are called to help each other.. So going out can be a blessing to others. That's a good reason...share love and kindness. A mom posted a video asking something that’s been bothering her.
Why does nobody want to go out anymore?
Not for work.
Not for fun.
Not even for simple things.
She says unless it’s a trip somewhere, she just doesn’t feel like leaving the house at all.
Then the floodgates opened.
People started admitting they feel the exact same way.
Some of the replies:
• “It costs $100 every time I leave the house.”
• “I’d rather stay home than deal with people.”
• “COVID turned me into a permanent homebody.”
• “Nothing outside feels worth the effort anymore.”
What started as one simple question suddenly turned into thousands of people realizing they aren’t the only ones feeling this way.

Situations like this strike at the heart of the administration of justice. When courts require parties to invest substantial time, money, and effort to comply with strict deadlines, only to cancel hearings days before they are scheduled due to a lack of judicial resources, it sends a deeply troubling message about the reliability of the system itself.
The administration of justice depends not only on decisions being made, but on the process being credible, predictable, and respectful of the parties who rely on it. When that breaks down, it inevitably erodes public confidence and trust in the justice system.
If the courts expect the public to respect the rule of law and the processes of the justice system, how can confidence be maintained when the system itself fails to meet the standards it imposes on everyone else?

I prefer we did away with parties and reps were independent. I don't like that reps have to "tow party lines". Just because a politician is member of a party doesn't mean he agrees with the entire "policy" mandate. Doing away with party affiliation ensures votes are on the merit of the policy not directives of parties! While people can network and collaborate on policy issues - I don't like party lines!

For clarity - at no time should provincially or federally elected representatives running for a party be allowed to just change parties. The process? 1) step down. 2) change parties. 3) run again. Prove that you admire and respect the people who elected you.

I didn't need covid for that!
We have a long history of gov't telling us what we want to hear for votes or not telling us the whole truth for fear of losing votes. Doing what pays/votes not necessarily what is right. So Covid wasn't my first time being cautious about gov't motives....
That said, there are a lot of well meaning politicians, and a lot of very well meaning civil servants. I don't want to paint them all with the same brush. Every day our communities, provinces, highways etc run on programs and infrastructure that gov't has employed for the good of society.
We need to focus on specific wrong doings so that we don't alienate what is good!

Health Care workers are fleeing BC as this Act takes effect April 1st. Doctors and nurses who will advice their patients honestly are either leaving the province, or will be stripped of their licenses. Only doctors and nurses who have been abused to the point of submission will remain. The people of BC are in grave danger!

I don't know anything about the cost of building a hospital and maybe it's financially problematic, that said I am happy to hear the people in the north are getting the healthcare! And if the north is supposed to grow with all this new development then maybe it makes since to invest in a good foundation to sustain anticipated growth.
