A pharmacist once drew my attention because I prescribed high dose of prednisolone to a child, I commended him for taken note of that then I told him this was not a mistake and then I went ahead to educated him on Nephrotic syndrome and that's how we became friends

This is one of the things I don't understand. My son was prescribed a med with 20mg written on it. On getting to the Pharmacy, they didn't have the 20mg but the 10mg variant. The drug was not dispensed and we had to go back to the Pediatrician to write a new prescription for 10mg. I'm not sure how it works over there but this is normal here. The Pharmacist can decide not to dispense a medication unless clear on the why.
If a fellow Dr had asked you for the rationale, you would have explained why you gave that description. So, the issue isn't about prescription or verification, it's about 'turf war'.
At the end of the day, the patient, the Pharmacist who comes in contact with your prescription should be clear on why you are giving that prescription because if something happens, both you AND the Pharmacist will have to answer
