I love singing with the Clerkenwell Community Choir and Ingatestone Choral Society. I like yoga, reading and Prosecco, not necessarily in that order!

And now I’m here in John Lewis. Am I the only person who wants to buy a nice bowl or a lovely plate that’s made in Britain and not in China? Sophie Conran, PortMeirion is beautiful and sounds British but made in China. Rick Stein Treyarnon Bay, Cornwall. Sounds Cornish but made in China. Almost everything I have picked up here is made in China. I’ll happily pay more for British made, in what I thought was a British shop, but it seems to be impossible.

@London_W4 I’ve sung in those choir stalls a couple of times and the sound is glorious. I took this after our rehearsal on a lovely sunny day

I’ve just been to the Choral Mattins service in St Paul’s Cathedral. I’m not religious, but to sit there under the dome, listening to the choir is a perfect way to spend a Sunday morning. Looking up at the magnificence of the architecture and the painted ceilings. The gorgeous sunlight pouring through the windows. It’s free to go in for the services, so if you’re nearby and want some calmness and beauty in your life, then I’d recommend going. This photo is approximately from where I was just sitting, but I took this when a service wasn’t on, as no photography is allowed then, which is totally fair enough.

In case you’re stuck indoors, feeling low or anxious or there’s big snow where you are, here are hundreds of snowdrops (also called Candlemas bells) in a hedgerow & gentle winter sun (& a car, sorry) I filmed on 3rd Feb last year. Leave a comment if you’re a fan of these little flowers 🌱🌱

Silver birch, hoar frost and a cloud inversion. Something cold but gold this morning. One of the best mornings I ever did have a few years back. The snow that fell overnight is more like slush but kids down the street are having a great time building snowmen ☃️ #PeakDistrict

I chatted to the magnificent Mary Berry about love, loss and udder pie for this week's Waitrose Weekend. A lovely way to mark my 20th anniversary in journalism! It's free by the tills, or online here: #10" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">weekend-online.com/issue765/#10
