@GWRHelp such excellent #CustomerService from your Chippenham Station colleague this morning. I’d have paid significantly more if I’d purchased from the online options available to me. Perhaps that’s what you want. Ticket Offices remain a vital service for so many people.
@charlottealexa It is the perfect activity for a day like today. What are you making with the stock (hungry and thinking of food on a train with several hours remaining…)?
@AlisonCandlin Hello Alison, we can't speak for the Train Managers announcement but the timetable information such as arrival/departure times we get from Network Rail. What service did you travel on and I'll take a look? Did you have any connections? ^Charlene
@LNER 1503 KX-Leeds yesterday delayed by trespassers on the line. We were kept well informed. As we arrived train manager apologised one last time for our arrival being 34 mins late (it was). The app has it at 28 minutes and ineligible for delay repay. Why the discrepancy?

My breakfast view this morning has me thinking about how even a tiny shift in focus can make a huge difference to how things look. Don’t get me wrong - I love a building site - but the sunrise and even the ocean are just off to the side if you take a sideways look.
@JaneyGodley I had a pair of red patent startrite Mary Janes for about a day in the mid 70s. A bit risqué for my mother’s liking - I’ll never know why she agreed to buy them - but then she spied a scratch in the leather and returned them the next day for something ‘more serviceable’ 😭
@SF_England going round in circles trying to correct an assessment error. Submitted an appeal as advised, but rejected and told this is the wrong process. Can’t get any further advice. Phone lines impossible, live chat can’t handle off-script problems - how best to proceed?
Two bits of advice to those planning to go into higher education
● study what interests you and not what you think will get you a highly paid job. Life is short. You'll be happier, more fulfilled and probably go on to do better things with your life
● Don't vote Conservative
Hello @macmillancancer I’m walking as part of a team tomorrow at the #LakeDistrict#mightyhike. Do all team members need to pick up their number in person, or could one member of the team register us all together, please?
These flip-flopping, in/out school weeks are unbelievably discombobulating for children who need routine. They’re losing not just the days schools are closed but the compromised days around. Broken sleep, anxiety, brain overload and too much learning being lost.
