I was today years old when I found out that there are accounts on twitch that stream vods of a chosen vtuber 24/7

@Venalis21 Dude, this keeps happening to me over and over and it's so annoying! I turn it off, then discord will randomly turn it on and I don't notice until the GPU usage is insane or I hear the boop noise when I accidentally trigger a clip to be taken.

Thought my GPU was cooked, nope. Turns out a random Discord update turned on Clips by default. Turning it off made me go from 100% usage to 7%. Go turn that shit off and save yourself the headache. Hope it helps

@SyntheicPeach set up a channel point redeem for mod application and and if they are accepted then consume the points if rejected then give the points back. but i find most of my mods are willing to follow no matter which game i play and it works or get my VIP's to mod status if they ask

How do streamers go about getting new mods? When i started I just gave it to my friends but they are like NEVER active or do mod stuff anymore XD I legit only have one active mod and I feel bad relying on them when I need some help haha

@jumiryu to be honest the middle ground is 1 min 30 seconds and its nothing to taxing on the community( tested this with different communities in different games) all agree the 1min 30 secs is good enough. the 3minuets seems to long for attention span(content missed)

All the back and forth about twitch ads is making my head spin. I don't know what to do anymore. A few months ago people were saying prerolls are horrible and the 3 min per hr was better and now people are saying they absolutely hate scheduled ads. Its a lose lose situation 😭

@Sevlore character limit is one thing and some older vets on here only talk to blue marks over non blue marks. but to be honest it's not needed unless you're trying to reach out to sponsors on here or want game devs coming to you as they see it more seriously

Sometimes I wonder if it would be worth it to get the blue checkmark? I'm not sure if it's worth it or not. Does it actually make that much of a difference, or is it pretty minimal?

@misery_exe ah ok then just make sure the games you play you truly enjoy and have the most fun in and on top of it super saturated games with tons of people streaming it will make discoverability hard so keep that in mind as well so don't be hard on your self

@misery_exe I just checked your channel out of curiosity you're stunting your growth by having followers only mode on. turn that off cause a lot of people dislike feeling like we have to follow you and if raiding then all raiders have to follow just to talk for a raid its forced. <3

@misery_exe to go on further make sure you post short form content as well on YouTube TikTok and Instagram and your socials if you say i don't like YouTube TikTok or Instagram well time to change that and get in the game <3

@misery_exe Rule one to normal growth as a content creator watch your vods after stream and see if you enjoy your content from point A to point B if you do then do not change and if you don't enjoy it add a little spice and try that out. also sharing is caring make sure to keep friends close

@GOTHYBUNZ @Twitch well, if you give up on twitch then there are other options like twitch's rival which is kick unless you got a YT audience then YT as main and kick as secondary, but kick will pay you out more don't bother with rumble or the other platforms otherwise you will just burnout

@LeeandLie use streamlabs plugin not the streamlabs obs but just the plugin and you will be fine or for a better more accurate time switching over to @StreamWithMeld and import it all and not worry too much about it as the community will guide you

@mrboost92 @BirchyFruFru @iSageSen @ACPixel so, for most people who use streamlabs it eats away at your pc in an intensive way. If streamlabs were to fix the options on it to not eat away at all your resources, it would be a great option to use currently though they will not fix it other options beat it.

Whether the StreamElements rumors are true or false, it's always a good idea to know what other options are out there for you. If you're wanting something that feels similar to StreamElements there is Pixel Chat by @ACPixel and is a great resource. I always recommend them for captions. You can add overlays and a nice shout out widget! Overlays can be done in most chat bots these days! @MixItUpApp @LumiaStream and @streamerdotbot all have ways for you to create overlays that you can add to your streaming software. Most of them even have integrations with your favorite platforms and streaming software! And last but not least, there's @StreamWithMeld where you can use built-in widgets or Spark!

If streamelements shuts down, can someone clearly layout some backups for the following?: Alerts Overlays Chat bot Privacy-safe, low-to-zero cut tipping service I think it would help to make a master list. I don't think we should panic until confirmation comes, but preparing backups is always responsible.
