Masaka is such an annoying city. If you want to withdraw money from an MTN number, you turn into a nuisance, loitering around the city as kiosk/shop attendants tell you they don’t offer MTN services. Some even take it personally and ask why you transact with MTN. I may not know the exact reason, but the Buganda influence is not negligible. It’s not that Buganda asked the people of Masaka not to use MTN, but its partnership with a rival company seems to have been taken personally by the bannaMasaka. Now the day Airtel fumbles that partnership, they will understand why a goat can’t chew coffee.
