Inheritance tax is ugly, but necessary, due to the accumulation of wealth by interest. It should be limited to amounts well larger than granny's little cottage and also be a relatively small percentage, but a monetary system with interest rates is not mathematically stable without some instruments of redistribution. Very simple maths involved here.

A bloke in a medieval costume waving his hands around like a street magician, pretending he has a direct line to the creator of the universe. This isn’t “uplifting” it’s a reminder that we’re still humouring grown adults who believe in magic rituals. Imagine if this was a bloke in a wizard’s robe claiming to bless people with the power of Gandalf. You’d laugh him into the Thames. But slap a dog collar on him, mumble some Latin, and suddenly it’s “a beautiful tradition.” This isn’t spirituality it’s public theatrics for a dying institution. The Church knows it’s losing relevance, so now it’s out on the streets, peddling blessings like a religious car boot sale. Britain should be moving forward, not clinging to outdated superstition like a security blanket.
