Patrick Mahomes' and Tom Brady's postseasons by year. Mahomes has been one of the best postseason QBs we've ever seen. Brady posting good efficiency while also having by far the largest sample size this century is also very impressive.

@Goatmuse77 @CoreyB08 Poor argument regarding efficiency since you can take their best X # of routes stretch and Gronk will absolutely blow Kelce out. If you favor longevity over peak, totally reasonable position to have though. Both have a legitimate argument for GOAT

@AllenBogarty @CoreyB08 Which longevity is a factor in the GOAT debate, and I’m not gonna knock Kelce out as a worse receiver because of efficiency charts, which favors a shorter career like Gronk’s Kelce’s sustained success at the position with an insanely higher career EPA make it easy for me

@theonlydyl_ Using counting stats like a casual lmao. Hilarious that you think I’m a Pats/Brady stan too — ironically revealing your own bias there. The Brady GOAT discussion parallel you’re trying to draw is very dumb

@AllenBogarty The Goat conversation stops when Kelce accumulated 9,000 yards after Gronks first retirement. Y’all say screw longevity for Gronk then say Brady is the GOAT because of longevity. It’s just hilarious how biased yall are. 💀

Just a reminder availability is the best ability. Gronk retired for the first time at 29 years old while Kelce has accumulated 9,102 yards and 60 touchdowns since he was 29. It’s not close. There is no argument to this statement, because it is fact not opinion.

Just a reminder one is a WR who they call a TE The other is the greatest TE that actually lined up more at TE than WR in their career Also one player was targeted at the knees constantly because it was the only way of humanly stopping him the other is a really good WR pretending to be a TE

@milehighami Add to that potentially the best post-snap processing of all time — which imo largely can’t be trained and is the most important trait for a QB

@Buckeye937B @btsherwood03 It all comes down to how much a person values peak vs longevity. Peak Gronk clears peak Kelce. But Kelce has the longevity and therefore cumulative stats.

@Goatmuse77 @CoreyB08 Kelce is far less injury prone, no one is arguing that. Now, to take injury proneness out of the discussion, you need to look at efficiency, where Gronk dominates Kelce. Gronk had a better peak, Kelce has the longevity.

@AllenBogarty @CoreyB08 That doesn’t make him a better TE or receiving TE when Kelce’s longevity absolutely clears this😂😂😂 I mean Kelce’s EPA is on a different planet to Gronk’s. Kelce does it longer and has the accolades and stats to back up why he’s the best TE

Kelce's peak was also better than Gronk's peak. Both in the regular season and the playoffs.

Brady Penn@bradypenn21

@chiefs_outsider I’m a Kelce appreciator and they’re clearly 1A 1B. It’s a Jordan-LeBron type thing where you either value the dominant peak or the longevity more. With Brady vs whoever I feel he has both but in this case it’s very similar

@CoreyB08 Kelce is a good blocker, and CLEARLY the better reciever, where receiving is the most important aspect of a TE. Longevity and accolades also are in Kelce’s favor. Gronk didn’t play long enough to be considered better all time than Kelce anyway

@CoreyB08 Kelce lined up in the slot 40.7% of his snaps. Gronk lined up in the slot 40.4% of his snaps. Don’t exaggerate on stats that are literally tracked dude

@CardsHoney @itsdomyoutube I wasn’t even endorsing the original post’s point. I was just pointing out how stupid your run-blocking grade ‘point’ was.

@AllenBogarty @itsdomyoutube Comparing a flag football player with someone who is still in the league is actually more retarded. Saying Kelce couldn’t block is retarded. They are the same age. Literally no comparison anymore. Gronk peak > Kelce peak but by that logic Lamar Jackson is the best active QB.

Did you just not read my comment? Comparing run blocking grades when there’s a 47 %pt inline difference is next-level retarded. Apply even a tiny bit of context to the stats you’re putting forth. And yeah, Gronk was pretty athletically washed by 2020. Completely irrelevant for the discussion at hand though. Not a Pats fan btw.

@AllenBogarty @itsdomyoutube You realize Kelce had a better run blocking grade right? The guy you and your fandom like to say can’t block? Gronk couldn’t line up outside because he ran like David Ortiz in 2020z

@CardsHoney @itsdomyoutube You realize run blocking grade isn’t adjusted for difficulty of assignment, right? In 2020, Gronk lined up inline 81% of the time vs Kelce at 34%. Any guess which alignment will lead to harder blocking assignments?
