Travis Kelce has been dominating for years while Gronk has been retired 🔥 Gronk played one possession of flag football and pulled his hamstring 😅 These 2 do NOT belong in the same conversations 👀😈

Just a reminder one is a WR who they call a TE The other is the greatest TE that actually lined up more at TE than WR in their career Also one player was targeted at the knees constantly because it was the only way of humanly stopping him the other is a really good WR pretending to be a TE

@milehighami Tom Brady didn't win any genetic lotteries, yet still the GOAT...

Just a reminder that one is still in the league playing real football & one has been retired for years and plays flag football

I actually had this same opinion until I looked into it more deeply. Gronk's advanced efficiency metrics -- both peak and career -- are notably better than Kelce's. Had similar career DYAR & EPA despite running 1,906 fewer routes than Kelce. All while being inline (generally bad for efficiency and run-blocking grades) 34.4% more than Kelce. IMO Gronk > Kelce -- both peak and career.

@chiefs_outsider I’m a Kelce appreciator and they’re clearly 1A 1B. It’s a Jordan-LeBron type thing where you either value the dominant peak or the longevity more. With Brady vs whoever I feel he has both but in this case it’s very similar
