@United_Africana Time under tension. The longer you are squeezing blood to your muscles the more gains. Also more volume over time beats anything else.

@AllenBogarty @whydoyoupretend Thought on him not being super great against man coverage? Idrc who anyone has as #1 wr between puka, jsn, chase, and jj and sometimes I think puka might be #1 but his man beating abilities makes me doubt it.

Mahomes and Burrow are in a different class at this point imo. Even Allen and Jackson leave so much on the field when they get sped up and those guys miss absolutely nothing if it’s there.
It becomes a scrambling variance game way too much with those guys when it gets hard mode

Burrow is clearest example that film hipsters (Solak, Tice, Kimes etc.) imo overvalue physical traits and underrate mental ones In their pods Solak/Kimes had him distinctly below top-3 and he went 5th on 301 Meanwhile he’s top-3 every year in Fowler/Sando league exec polls

@tommythrowsTDs I don’t know that they’ve been trending that way, but it was certainly a notable dip in 2025, independent of Hurts/scheme.
His average separation score was way down, and that’s generally a pretty stable metric YoY, so should be pretty free from environmental changes

@AllenBogarty I’m just so desperate to not have to see an offense with Rice getting 10 targets a game at this point.
Have those stats been trending down? Or is it a one-season drop off that we could maybe attribute to the eagles just having a down year offensively?

I’m contemplating if the Chiefs should be trading a 1st (ideally 2028) and a 3rd for AJ brown and I just hate that Rashee Rice, Andy Reid, and Brett Veach have done this to me

For CLE, Flacco was perhaps the worst qb in the league. Starts 6 games for CIN, and was above average.
It’s so much easier to play qb when you have 2 studs on the outside. When you compare Allen, Lamar, and Burrow, you gloss over that’s fact too quickly.

@mibpj2 @_strawhatkhi Exactly. To me, at this point, it’s fairly clear that — at least regarding the passing game — weapons are more important than OL. Josh Allen would do better with Burrow’s offensive cast than the Bills’, and I’m fairly confident about that.

@AllenBogarty @_strawhatkhi In 2025 only two teams spent more on OL than the combined AAV of Chase and Higgins and some people would have you believe that he doesn't need them. Its okay to say they're integral to his success

Tyreek Hill = best WR of my generation Patrick Mahomes, Tua Tagovailoa, and Alex Smith all averaged >58.5 passing YPG with Tyreek Hill (would have ranked top-3 among all offenses last year). Without, they dropped to bottom-12 This is the @cheetah effect
