People treating Marathon like a Battle Royale are missing the real point it’s an extraction shooter its just a bit faster paced than Tarkov and ARC Raiders (I love all 3 games btw) not every game has to be an exact clone of another game thats just silly

“If YouTube wanted to dominate, they should be more like Twitch…” What do you mean if they want to dominate? They already do. YouTube generates 3x more live watch time than Twitch with 60% fewer streamers. They did $60+ BILLION in 2025… Twitch did $1.5–2 billion… and still isn’t profitable. YouTube has: • Discovery • Search • Recommended feeds • Multiple monetization paths • Better Cuts • More stability Twitch has… • You already knowing who to watch And that’s the disconnect. Creators say they want to leave Twitch because it sucks, but then turn around and ask YouTube to become Twitch. The YouTube system isn’t broken, their approach is. They think the goal is: “Go live → get subs → get donations” Instead of: “Make content people actually want to watch… then monetize the attention.” You don’t need better chat features and YouTube doesn't have to be Twitch to succeed…

Marathon's competitive mode is so complicated that Bungie made a literal maths test to figure it out, and it actually helps pcgamer.com/games/fps/mara…

We identified and fixed an issue where runners could equip larger-than-expected stacks of equipment (grenades, ammo boxes, etc.). This has been resolved with a server-side fix. For now, if you hold a stack of equipment greater than supported, the extra items will be lost upon infil. In the future, we will fix the UI error that allows these larger-than-expected stack sizes to occur. The fix that is now deployed will also reduce the rate of anteater errors in-run.

We are aware of exploits allowing Runners to cancel slides to gain boosts of speed. To maintain competitive integrity and keep the combat sandbox balanced we will be fixing these exploits in a future patch. Pardon our dust!
