@dawesy2801 Sleeve head width is too narrow for the cuff rib. Looks awful and over stretched.

Worth noting that virtually none of the countries who abstained/voted against actually practice modern slavery, whereas a fair few of those who voted in favour do. This is all just a PR stunt.

🚨🌍 NEW: The UN has voted to recognise the slave trade as “the gravest crime against humanity” and also called for reparations to the countries impacted The UK, France and other EU member states abstained whilst the US, Israel and Argentina opposed the proposal

I support the pedstrianisation of Oxford Street, but they need to calm it down. No need for migraine-inducing diagonals, greenified asphalt, or sculpted athletes suspended on wires. Making good streets is not complicated, and we have done it millions of times.

I was told “borrow money to go to university and you can repay what you owe once you start earning enough”. Not “go to university and later we will feel free to seize as much of your income as we decide to fund the state’s other spending commitments”.

Labour minister admits that they are deliberately charging higher debt repayments to graduates who work, in order to pay higher benefits to people who do not work.

The decision to demolish this building for the redevelopment of Liverpool Street Station is scandalous.

I say this literally every fortnight now, but you can’t have a social contract where you ask 95% of the population to pay more money and obey the law, while letting 5% of the population break any rule they want to without punishment. Children in nursery class can work that out. Yet our government(s) and judiciary can’t. You are creating the perfect conditions for civil unrest and populism. It will get ugly, and it won’t be thanks to “Russian Disinformation” or “Right Wing Agitators”, it will be because soft men create hard times.

This is verging on criminal negligence and abuse of office. It's also desperately sad. We urgently need to replace vast numbers of people currently in control of our national institutions. Here is what some of the old ones looked like: artlyst.com/national-galle…

I cannot believe the wanton futile vandalism of selling off the old National Gallery London benches for a song & replacing them with things that look like they come from IKEA.

@AllonsyEva @gmbarnard22 its not a national term that varies from country to country. fashion houses refer to the two fashion seasonsas fall/winter(fw)and spring/summer(ss) when releasing collections, including london fashion week.this is more of a fashion industry standard trandition rather than language

Michaël Delafosse is Montpellier’s mayor - he’s from the Parti Socialiste and has strong approval ratings. He governs a medium sized city with a burgeoning population and successful economy. Imagine! Britain COULD do things like this. It chooses not to.
