Very sad to find out, some two months late, of the passing of Tim Dorsey. His books are great fun, and although I didn't meet him in person, I spoke to him on the phone a couple of times and he was terrific. Don't know how this got by me. Condolences if this is news to you,too.

Said goodbye to my dog of 15 years, my step-dawgther I would call her, and it feels unreal, or wrong, like I want to scream at the universe that this isn't happening. It feels like the grief is unending.
