On Easter morning, this is what President Trump posted. Everyone in his administration that claims to be a Christian needs to fall on their knees and beg forgiveness from God and stop worshipping the President and intervene in Trump’s madness. I know all of you and him and he has gone insane, and all of you are complicit. I’m not defending Iran but let’s be honest about all of this. The Strait is closed because the US and Israel started the unprovoked war against Iran based on the same nuclear lies they’ve been telling for decades, that any moment Iran would develop a nuclear weapon. You know who has nuclear weapons? Israel. They are more than capable of defending themselves without the US having to fight their wars, kill innocent people and children, and pay for it. Trump threatening to bomb power plants and bridges hurts the Iranian people, the very people Trump claimed he was freeing. On Easter, of all days, we as Christians should be reminded that the son of God died and rose from the grave so that we can be forgiven once and for all of our sins. Jesus commanded us to love one another and forgive one another. Even our enemies. Our President is not a Christian and his words and actions should not be supported by Christians. Christians in the administration should be pursuing peace. Urging the President to make peace. Not escalating war that is hurting people. This NOT what we promised the American people when they overwhelmingly voted in 2024, I know, I was there more than most. This is not making America great again, this is evil.

President Trump's latest threats on Truth Social, if carried out, would violate the law of armed conflict as laid out in the Geneva Conventions and the DoD Law of War Manual. It is both irresponsible and wrong to indiscriminately kill civilians in Iran and destroy civilian infrastructure like bridges and power plants — particularly when the President said this war was to aid the Iranian people. On top of that, it’s our service members who are put in legal and mortal danger. And when the smoke clears, it will be our service members -- not President Trump or Secretary Hegseth -- who could have to live with the consequences. President Trump has walked us into another complicated war in the Middle East. His decisions are making us less safe abroad, raising prices and costing American blood and treasure. He must negotiate a way to end this war, open the Strait of Hormuz, and bring our warriors home.

Trump is clearly unfit to be President. But do not let that explain away the evil of his threatening war crimes against the Iranian people, on Easter Sunday no less.  We cannot let Trump normalize this.

El Gobierno de España condena la pena de muerte contra palestinos que acaba de aprobar el parlamento de Israel. ترامب يقول إنه استخدم القواعد العسكرية في الشرق الأوسط قسراً ودون مراعاة موافقة الدول المضيفة والمالكة لها. القادة الأمريكيون ورئيس الأركان أبلغوا ترامب بوجود عوائق، بسبب رفض الدول القريبة استخدام قواعدها خشية الإحراج. رد عليهم ترامب، استخدموها، ولن يعلموا بذلك، وهل لديهم القدرة أصلاً على معرفة متى نقلع أو نهبط؟ إنهم لا يعلمون! فأجابه رئيس الأركان، أتفق معك، في النهاية لا يهم إن كانوا سيعلمون أم لا. هذه التصريحات تكشف نمط ثابت في سلوك ترامب الإعلامي، قائم على سياسة التوريط، لا يتردد في تجاوز سيادة حتى حلفائه وزجهم في مواقف محرجة أو صراعات غير محسوبة لتحقيق مكاسب سريعة مهما كان الثمن.

انتهى هذا الأسبوع دون حصول التفاوض بين الأميركيين والإيرانيين. تذكروا تصريحات ترامب الأسبوع الماضي؛ تكلم عن "تسول" إيران التفاوض معه، فيكون التفاوض أول هذا الأسبوع، ثم مر نصفه، والآن انتهى، دون أي تفاوض. كل ما حدث هو إيصال رسائل، بشكل غير مباشر، رفضها الإيرانيون. كلام ترامب كذبته وقائع هذا الأسبوع، كما أغلب كلامه.

هر میزان خسارتی که دشمن وارد کند، پاسخ و تلافی ایران به‌مراتب شدیدتر خواهد بود. صبر ما محدود است، اما ظرفیت تحمل‌مان بالاست. نیروهای مسلح کشور به توانمندی‌ها و ابزارهایی مجهز هستند که در صورت تداوم درگیری، از آن‌ها بهره خواهند گرفت. #سر_در_برابر_چشم

Today was one of the most horrifying days of my life as an academic. Walking through Iran University of Science and Technology, a top-ranked public university in Iran, I was struck by the devastation. Only last month, this campus was alive with students, bustling between classrooms. Now, parts of the campus lie in ruins, classrooms shattered, hallways choked with dust and shattered glass. I saw the offices of professors burned. A newly renovated building, where students gathered for programs, for socializing, for life, destructed. One student, tearfully, told me: “My professor’s office was still burning a little. That’s where I used to wait for office hours. To ask questions. To appeal my grade.” This is the same university that launched Iran’s Omid and Zafar 2 satellites, symbols of homegrown technological achievement. A week ago, one of its professors was assassinated. Yesterday, they bombed it. From sanctions to targeted killings, to the bombing of research centers and universities, there’s a clear pattern: de-development & de-industrialisation/ the systematic dismantling of a nation’s indigenous development, its industrial base, its capacity to stand on its own. We will never forget that as the American and Zionist war criminals blatantly target universities, schools, hospitals/ assassinating professors and killing children, and after 2 years or genocice, western intellectuals are still debating whether or not to pass a symbolic, non-enforceable BDS resolution. Pictures show the total loss of 81-0005, an E-3G “Sentry” Airborne Early Warning and Control (AEW&C) Aircraft with the U.S. Air Force’s 552nd Air Control Wing based out of Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma, following yesterday’s Iranian ballistic missile and drone attack on Prince Sultan Air Base in Saudi Arabia. The strike appears to have purposefully targeted the most important part of the E-3, that being rear of the aircraft which holds its rotating radar dome, containing several sensitive instruments including antennas for the E-3’s AN/APY-2 Surveillance Radar System.
