@OG_Etherean The only way this story was real was if she sold for $2m gains in 2021, then somehow intentionally or unintentionally avoided/evaded paying tax by April 2022, and somehow either got caught or finally got around to have to pay tax with penalty, after the May 10th, 2022 $LUNA crash

Heard from a friend (a crypto tax accountant) that a client of his had approx. $2M in $LUNA earnings, swapped to $UST close to the top, and then deposited in anchor.
She now owes 40% taxes on the LUNA sale and has to sell her house and declare bankruptcy. Incredibly sad.

@SimonFilipCPA @RElblein True, but at least for me, Edge was about $200 more than regular Checkpoint. I would not have renewed regular Checkpoint based on past performance as it was too elementary. Might be ok for a person just starting out but not for experienced tax pro's.

I wonder if there’s a nonce reuse bug in some ed25519 signature library solana projects are using. I think this would allow any attacker looking at solana to derive the private key regardless of where it was generated. Here’s an article that covers this: blog.trailofbits.com/2020/06/11/ecd…
