@LKemp42 How about they stop making major rules changes every year so people watching know wtf is going on. With one kid just graduating a 4 year D2 starter and one about to start college lacrosse I watch probably 100 games a year and even I can’t keep up.

To make it less about today’s decision(s). I genuinely think the Women’s Rules Committee needs to work overtime to make the game more consistent, easier to consume/officiate, and remove self inflicted wounds (such as the green card / crease outcomes). Simplify. Let athletes shine

I need @UNCKirschner to explain why @uncwlax fans shouldn’t feel robbed today, particularly the reversed goal in the 4th quarter that caused a 2-goal swing with the following woman-up goal. That call was seen, on national TV, by people trying to get more into women lacrosse.

The biggest travesty in the NCAA Women's Lacrosse Championship today wasn't that @uncwlax was robbed of the title - it's that future potential fans who watched the sport for the first time will walk away believing that it's always this bad! Lacrosse deserves better.

@yyanyanli1 The refs were obviously looking for any reason to overturn calls instead of making sure to fix obvious errors on the field. The game and its officiating at this point are largely fraudulent. Any neutral observer would watch that game and laugh at how poorly it’s officiated.

@yyanyanli1 She’s not wrong. Instant replay is a disaster to sports, and doubly so for a sport that is constantly making major changes to its rules to keep up with its ambitions. It is obvious that the refs lack the experience to properly implement it properly.

UNC head coach Jenny Levy wants more transparency regarding two overturned UNC goals — one that would have put it up 10-7, and the other which would have tied the game at 12-12. “I’m not looking at the review and I haven’t looked at the film, but it seems to me that we have a lot of work to do with our game. It’s unfortunate. They didn’t give us an explanation on what it was. We clearly saw on our iPads what it was, so probably disagreed with that. I thought that those were momentum-changing decisions and I thought that our team had to battle through that, and we didn’t do as well as we could.”

I can’t stand Everton. A pointless PL club that somehow stays up whenever they struggle and then always let you down when you want them to do something. Have they actually done anything in the last 30 years?
