To allow our crews to safely complete the work, a power outage is required that may impact people in the surrounding area. The outage is expected to start at 7 p.m. and last for approximately 20 minutes. Power outage alert: We need to complete an urgent repair tonight on our transmission system that will result in a power outage in the Town of Cadomin and area. The outage will start around 4 p.m. today and is expected to end around midnight. We appreciate your patience as crews work to complete this work safely and as quickly as possible. @FortisAlberta

Keeping the lights on starts with strong training. Each year, our crews train together to support the safety and reliability of the transmission system, helping keep communities powered across Alberta.

As part of our CETO project, crews will be using helicopters for construction along HWY 11, from RR 234 to RR 230, including the HWY 601 intersection south of the Village of Alix. To safely complete this repair, a power outage is required that will impact service in the Rimbey and Eckville areas.
