@MightyMogomra haha. first month heroic clear isn't that hard. I came from orange parsing final fantasy xiv raids, so the individual fights in heroic were kind of a joke difficulty wise. but still fun. hard to recommend ffxiv though. raiding is fun but like 100 hrs of story to grind through

ohho, nice I did mythic for two tiers last year, but I quit because everyone is using these spaghetti code addons to try and make it easier. If you can find a group that's not assholes and plays a couple nights a week, mythic raid can be pretty fun though. You get a chance to really dig in and learn the fights. Just clearing CE is a lot more challenging and interesting than getting orange parses in crappy heroic pugs IMO, haha I'll hit you up if I put together a 25 man avenger's team to go snag the world first

Mythic raiding is kinda lame in WoW. I returned to retail for the first time since vanilla when Dragonflight first came out and got all purples/oranges in heroic raids in 1st month then quit (pugging). I woulda loved to TRY the mythic raids, but there was no cross-server/party finder system to pug it. I think they've added that since. you haven't tried the mythic raids then?

@AltayCapital I got orange parses, CE, the special good boy dungeon mount, gladiator xmog.. all I'm missing is Hall of Fame and the 0.1% dungeon title Basically the whole game has devolved into needing to manage a guild of 25 degenerates to push any higher

@AltayCapital hmm, I guess it depends on how they implemented it, but so far as I can tell in this case it's the full round trip between my PC and the game server, through the VPN

I finally broke down and got a VPN just now because the routing between the World of Warcraft servers and me in Tokyo is completely FUBAR sometimes. Went from 600ms to 170, and I didn't even have to make an account or deal with any bullshit Thanks, Mullvad!

Hoyoverse titles still have more soul. NTE is great production value, but not as thoughtful as Hoyo titles, though I only played NTE for a short while. Honkai Star Rail just has so much love and soul that Tower of Fantasy / NTE don't. But NTE is a big step up for Perfect Word.

I played a bit of NTE too, impressive stuff. Especially since it's not even Hoyverse that did it, but Perfect World. So many Chinese gaming companies can produce incredible production value mobile games that no kr/jp/western co can match.

Beautiful looking game and very polished. It's downright impossible for Japanese, Korean, Western game devs to compete with Chinese mobile games. They are so far ahead in technical competence (specifically in mobile gaming). Most big JP game cos are shorts.

A005990, looks like a net net at first glance was $98 million more in net current assets than market cap + total liabilities, but there's also $294 million in minority interest. They are consolidating subsidiaries they don't own 100% of which leads to all the cash/assets in those subs showing up on their balance sheet. The minority interest line accounts for the % they don't own.

@orrdavid @rgrfan American style pizza is superior imo. Fancier pizzas can be good too, but hard to beat good simple crisp good pizza from the north east U.S.

@rgrfan Best pizza I've had is Frank Pepes in New Haven, which was considerably better. I'm also partial to American style pizza generally, while the above pizza was more Euro style.

Rental RE is ball park around 800/share then you have another 100 in net cash. 150 if we count short term securities and similars. We also have another 190 ish in long term securities (mostly stocks). If we ignore stake in unconsolidated subs and only value listed equities that's still 102 per share. Then the rest of the biz does 45 jpy per share in eps.

@MikeFritzell I don’t think it’s completely unreasonable. It’s a somewhat dated estimate, and you can just assume SK Hynix’s estimates have moved up since then.
