Fast forward to today and Japan’s 40 year bond yield just hit a record 3.7%, Inflation is stuck above 3%, The Bank of Japan is widely expected to hike rates again in December, The yen has rocketed from 161 to 141 against the dollar in weeks. Suddenly, borrowing yen isn’t free anymore. Those loans are becoming painful to service, and the yen is appreciating so fast that traders are getting margin called left and right. Result? Forced selling of everything that was bought with cheap yen money. Global equities, gold, Bitcoin, Ethereum, and yes, XRP too. To hit $1,000 per XRP you would need a market cap of roughly $56.7 TRILLION. $1,000 requires XRP to become larger than the entire world economy. In one bull run. During a global liquidity crunch.
