🚨 🇬🇧 BREAKING: Three dead, including a child, after falling from high-rise block in south London. Emergency services were called to Churchyard Row in Elephant and Castle at around 7:30am on Wednesday morning following reports of people falling from a block of flats. A man, a woman, and a child were found at the scene. Despite extensive efforts by police, paramedics, London's Air Ambulance, and firefighters, all three were pronounced dead at the scene. Metropolitan Police say the deaths are being treated as unexpected. No other injuries have been reported. Formal identification is ongoing and next of kin have been informed. Tragic falls from high-rise windows and balconies remain a serious concern in London and across the UK. Data from previous years shows multiple such incidents annually particularly involving young children in flats with inadequate window restrictors. @SouthamptonFC @lufcstats I agree with Southampton here. The punishment is completely disproportionate. We got fined £200k for effectively the same thing, if the EFL imposed this on us there would have been a riot in Leeds. Allow them to play the play off final, maybe increase points deduction
