So Arcane was great, overall. It's left me feeling a bit bereft, missing the characters, like a great book does, which I find is rare with film and TV. Superb animation and design, voice acting and visual imagination, but the 2nd season felt rushed and overcrowded...

I wish everyone, regular citizens and elected local officials, would push back on the building of elevated highways that cut through our cities. Sobrang bababa yung quality of life natin, hindi din eto solusyon. Mass transit, giving people options to move without a car is key.

Drivers in Estancia are the worst. I'm in the bike lane, taking it slow because it's raining, I'm on a fixie, and bike lane paint is notoriously slippery. And a car behind me (also on the bike lane) honks at me. There's a car a few meters ahead of me.
