If she had feelings for bear she wouldn’t be sleeping with another man, plus Nikki strikes me as a blunt person. If she wanted bear I feel like she already would’ve made a move. Y'all know before the curse completely took over her mind and body, Nikki actually enjoyed the validation she was getting from Bear in #obsession right?? In the first half of the film, she was constantly using Bear to make Ian jealous after their fights. She loved having an anxious, desperate guy constantly orbiting her like a lost puppy to boost her ego when her actual relationship was failing. When “freaky Nikki” was asleep the real Nikki came out and bear asked “what’s so bad about being with me” real Nikki replied with “I was never with u bear”. I think we also get a hint at Ian and Nikki’s relationship because in the car with bear, Nikki says she’s writing a love story and she said she wants to feel love to bring her story to life. I’m thinking maybe Ian didn’t want a relationship just sex but Nikki wanted something more. So maybe she’s leaving her job due to wanting to pursue writing and the fact that she’s not experiencing love from Ian.
