@DerArschloch PS Store is region-locked. The credit card must be registered in the country of the PS account - the U.K. in my case - with an active local residential address.
So, no Pakistani physical or digital card works.

Wanted to digitally buy a game for my PlayStation. Since Pakistani credit cards don’t work on the PS Store (like many other sites), I had to physically go to an agent, deposit cash since digital banking wasn’t working, find a trustworthy gift-card vendor online, transfer him the money, get the card, and then redeem that gift card on my PS5.

@asadfacts Ah so it's your account issue then, that seems like it cus all Pakistani cards work okay. You can work around it. Create a Payoneer account. It will allow you to open a UK bank account with a dedicated UK debit card. Moving payments in that account will require a friend abroad

As someone who has deeply studied Pakistan’s ports and overall trade infrastructure, the issue has never been that ships are unwilling to come to Pakistan. The problem is our own operational limitations. Capacity constraints, outdated systems, and inconsistent regulatory processes.
I will always maintain that the key to boosting Pakistan’s economy is focusing on trade. All else is secondary.
