@AmandaAtCalm @ChloeMac20 @Jenny_1884 Why ? As far as I am aware a receptionist is not a qualified clinician. For the patient valuable time could be wasted being signposted to the wrong GP/clinician. This should not be the job of a receptionist.

Why are we expected to explain to a Drs receptionist our medical condition in order to see the DR nowadays. Is Dr-Patient confidentiality not a thing anymore?

It shouldn’t have got to the point that I ended up in A+E because someone unqualified gave wrong advice
