@drkeithsiau Thank you. I am so sick of the name sebaceous cyst. Cysts with actual sebaceous differentiation (steatocystomas) do not present like this.

Most “sebaceous cysts” on the scalp are actually pilar (trichilemmal) cysts. When expressed, they typically release keratinous material rather than oily sebaceous fluid. This is often described as thick, white to yellow, cheesy or pasty material, and may have an unpleasant odour.
