@TheOfficerTatum @LourdesSuggs Sorry, but helping ended with Daniel Penny. I’m not interested in being arrested for saving someone who might very well testify against me because I was too mean to the monster.

🚨 Horrifying video out of Charlotte, North Carolina shows a man chasing a woman onto a public bus before brutally beating her unconscious. Even more disturbing, passengers watched as the assault unfolded and no one stepped in to help. Evil thrives when good people refuse to act. h/t @mattvanswol

Transgenderism is an uncontrolled society-scaled experiment in conformity and obedience: a test of how far you can make people parrot absurdities, inflict cruelties, collude with unrealities, and ostracize and punish people for things they do not themselves believe. It is a test of whether the moral self-abasements and routine betrayals that occurred in the Soviet Bloc with its secret police and political prisons and armies of informants could be replicated in liberal, democratic, and pluralistic societies that lacked this formal apparatus of repression: whether minor rewards and punishments could force people to punish people for stating the most self-evident of all truths and inspire them to cheer on the chemical castration and dismemberment of their own children. It is a test of whether civil liberties organization could be twisted into instruments of state repression and human rights groups instruments of defamation and violence against women. It is a test that most of the Western world is failing.

I think we would be surprised at how many people would quietly start to come out in support, if they were given “permission” by the public figures they rely on to open Overton Windows for them. That is pathetic, cowardly, lazy, & self-interested, because they are often consumed with how they appear to the people around them, rather than forming their own opinions & standing by their own beliefs, but it is the reality of many of our fellow citizens. If they feel they have “permission” to support initiatives that protect the rights & dignity of females, I think the minority of vocal, unreasonable & zealous lunatics who’ve pushed this madness on us would start be increasingly marginalized, finding themselves with less power to shape the public discourse & public consciousness over the trans issue. I have myself experienced a few people who quietly, discreetly told me they agree with me that women & girls should have their own sports & spaces, but they would never tell other people. It was only after I experienced social punishment for expressing my opinions that they briefly mumbled they “kind of agreed.” People are cowards. They are afraid to form & stand by their own beliefs because they value social standing more than personal autonomy & the integrity that comes with being principled; more comfortable instead with social consensus & being included in the group. But, if the conversation shifts publicly, lead by people who are safer to express public opinions, the tide will change.

Please prepare yourself... I have cried multiple times writing this post. Sadly, police have found partial remains of the body of little 4-year-old Javeayah Harris from Aiken, South Carolina. The details are so horrifying, I'm struggling to write them. According to investigators, Javeayah's parents allegedly: a) assaulted her b) refused to get her medical treatment for her injuries c) she then passed away as a result of her injuries d) "used tools" to make disposing of her body "easier" e) dumped her body in acid f) "poured" her remains into a pond g) faked a 911 call to say she had "just" gone missing h) sent thousands of people out looking for her ...but the entire time, they knew she was not alive It is the most, vile, grotesque, evil thing I've ever heard in my entire life. I have no words... These demons should no longer be breathing the same air as us.

It’s not the Nazi tattoo, or his lying about it, or his statement that all cops are bastards, or his use of an app that targets teens, or his admission he was a communist that led Ds to dump Platner. It’s fear he will lose that caused this stampede. Never forget that.

Graham Platner is one of the most ridiculous figures to arise in American politics in years. He is bright red like a strawberry with a ridiculous walrus mustache. He has a giant Nazi death’s head tattooed on his chest. He posted on Reddit claiming to have engaged in sex tourism and masturbated in portable toilets. He has multiple accusations of serious sexual misconduct and violence. There are no memes about this man. There are no late night talk show hosts making jokes at his expense. Nobody portrays him on SNL. Consider the way this utterly ridiculous Democratic figure has been treated by the comedy world compared to Republican figures like Pete Hegseth, Kash Patel, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and JD Vance. This is not harmless and this is not meaningless. Democrats have successfully incepted the idea into voters’ heads that Republicans are absurd, clownish and unqualified and the one-sided mockery in entertainment media has helped to spread this lie when the Democrats are actually a collection of hideous weirdos and circus freaks that media has somehow convinced you are normal. We have to do a better job of making fun of them.

A guy walks into a race with a Nazi tattoo and it was the third sexual assault allegation that concerned them. For today’s Democrat party, the problem isn’t an alleged rapist, it’s an alleged rapist who can’t win.

I have now read this highlighted sentence seventeen times because I assumed I wan't actually reading what was written. Surely my eyes didn't actually read this. Maybe someone accidentally pasted in dialogue from "The Onion." back when it was funny. But no. She is saying that she delayed reporting a rape because she agreed with the accused, politically. This is one of those moments where, if your IQ is over 85, your brain quietly excuses itself from the room. We have apparently reached a point where politics has become the emotional-support animal for basic human survival instincts. "Yes, this person committed one of the worst crimes imaginable against me, but we both liked the same tax policy. Awkward." If your political identity has become so central that it can outweigh reporting your own rape, congratulations: you hve joined a cult. Cults are famous for making people subordinate reality, morality, and self-preservation to the interests of the group. I hate cults. I hate them a lot. They don't ask you to ignore facts all at once: they ask for one tiny compromise after another until one day you discover you're explaining away things that should be absolutely indefensible. What's sad isnt just that people end up there. It's that many of them don't even realize it. They sincerely believe they're making a principled decision when, from the outside, everyone else is wondering why the obvious isn't obvious anymore. At least religious cults usually promise enlightenment, salvation, eternal life, or an alien spaceship hiding behind a comet. Political cults dont even offer that. They ask you to sacrifice your judgment, your relationships, sometimes even your own well-being in exchange for cable-news talking points, in favor of a politician who will sell you out for a pack of gum. That's a spectacularly bad trade. At some point, "my team" has to lose to "the person who committed a violent felony against me." That's not supposed to be a close game.

"I was okay with Graham Platner getting a Nazi Totenkopf tattoo, being physically abusive as a boyfriend, his racist & misogynistic comments on Reddit, sexting minors on Kik, wishing death on a fellow soldier, cranking hog in a porta-potty, lying about his reason for enlisting in the military for the Afghanistan and Iraq wars, leaving the military to work for Blackwater, and being a communist, but SEXUAL ASSAULT is where I DRAW THE LINE."
Ro Khanna@RoKhanna

I’ve been very clear that sexual assault or violence against women is a red line. These allegations are very serious and credible. Graham Platner should drop out from the race. I am withdrawing my endorsement.

Run-walk is only “cheating” if your goal is impressing people who are not running with you. If your goal is finishing stronger, staying consistent, controlling effort, and not turning every run into a survival documentary… it’s just smart pacing. The ego hates walk breaks. The body often understands them perfectly. Some runners would rather suffer badly than pace intelligently because suffering looks more “real.” But the finish line does not care how cool your ego looked at mile 2. Did run-walk help you stick with running?

Many runners both underestimate and overestimate strength training. Here’s what I mean. They underestimate how important it is for your health. Simply put, you’ll have a better quality of life by running AND lifting weights. In fact, I’d say not everyone should run, but 100% of people should strength train. There are no downsides. They also underestimate its impact on running performance. Running and aerobic training are still the foundation, but heavy compound lifts (trap bar deadlifts, split squats) and plyometrics (bounding, hops) improve rate of force development and running economy. In other words, you become faster at the same VO₂max. What runners overestimate is the time required. If you’re training like a powerlifter, sure, that is a longer gym session. But as a runner? You can complete an effective strength workout in under 20 minutes once or twice a week. Grab a pair of dumbbells and do a circuit of step-ups, single-leg deadlifts, calf raises, and squat thrusts. That’s enough to move the needle. They also overestimate the complexity. Strength training doesn’t have to be complicated. The above exercises aren’t difficult to learn, and if you prefer, you can use machines instead. One or two hard sets per exercise, once or twice a week. Simple. If you’re not strength training, you’re leaving both health and performance on the table.
