Purposefully turning off the halftime show Let’s rally together and show big corporations they can’t just do whatever they want without consequences (which equals viewership for them) You are their benefit. Realize you have power. Turn off this halftime. A fake American citizen performing who publicly hates America. I cannot support that.
Patient safety is nurses' #1 concern. It’s irresponsible for hospitals to force nurses on strike and rely on inadequate contingency plans to care for patients. We don't want replacement nurses here, we want a fair contract now!
Several safety-net hospitals are stepping up and have agreed on tentative agreements. Now it’s time for the wealthiest hospitals to do the same. If nurses don't reach an agreement by Jan. 12, see you on the picket line!
NEW: 97% of nurses at 12 NYC private sector hospitals have voted "Yes" to authorize a strike for better patient care. Contracts for over 20,000 nurses expire on Dec. 31.
