We got into Y Combinator (P26)
After scaling SimpleClaw to $40k MRR in <3 weeks, we learnt what our users were trying to accomplish - build companies with agents.
SimpleClaw is shutting down;
I’m now 19, and made the hard decision to skip college to build Result, my biggest bet so far.
Company announcement tomorrow.
ok, back to work.

I have been in Barranquilla 🇨🇴 for three days now talking with the government, companies and universities and me and my colleagues are in love with this place:
- Explosive FDI exploded 130% to $602M which makes it #3 in LatAm
- Colombia’s golden port + nearshoring rocket
- Amazing surfing and kite surfing hub
- Pure Carnival soul ( Like Rio carnival but in Colombia)
- Magdalena riverfront boom
- Very authentic “costeño” life
- 83% cheaper rent than Medellín
- Great higher education with top global high quality universities like @UniCostaCOL
This is one of the smartest capital allocation + highest-quality life play right now
The wise money is already positioning

@salamanderX2045 @cesarsuarezpab @BironClark well we know a thing or two about architecture and taste
English

@eurofounder you've mastered the art of rage baiting, congratulations!
English

@cesarsuarezpab @BironClark Well, from the outside and based on the pictures, the architecture looks fairly uninspired
Though I’ll admit that as a Parisian who grew up in Western Europe, my expectations may be skewed
English

@AmauryGrowthPR @BironClark I have to say Medellín game in architecture and interior design is global class
Everyone is renovating their homes to capture the Airbnb value
Ultra beautiful places
English

@scow_invest @cesarsuarezpab It’s just skycrapers man. Great hills and nature but the buildings? Feels like east Europe
English

@BironClark @cesarsuarezpab Because it’s very green but the buildings in itself…
English

@CapitanColombia @cesarsuarezpab Still skycrapers! There is no normal buildings in that city?
Also, and I mean this kindly, some of the buildings in the 3rd photo give off quite a Soviet-era Eastern European vibe.
English

@CapitanColombia @cesarsuarezpab No hate man!
You find this beautiful? Nothing but skyscrapers…
Maybe I’m what Americans would call ‘too European’ for this.
English

@AmauryGrowthPR @cesarsuarezpab Barranquilla and Medellin are gorgeous.
You look ugly based on your pictures.

English

@scow_invest @cesarsuarezpab I’ve never been maybe I’m wrong I just don’t like skycrapers who look the same wether you’re in Shenzen, SF or apparently in Barranquilla and Medellín (both look similar on the pics)
English

@AmauryGrowthPR @cesarsuarezpab If Medellín looks ugly I dunno what to tell you
English

@cesarsuarezpab Of course that's why I said based on the 2 pictures. Nothing but skyscrapers, it feels pretty sad and soulless
English

@AmauryGrowthPR This isn’t true, can’t say that if you haven’t been
It’s really beautiful here

A perfect Thursday in Spain as a 37 year old man:
10:00 - Wake up
10:30 - Mother brings breakfast to bed
11:30 - Take two buses to a €900/month job
12:30 - 2 hour coffee break
13:30 - Receive a call that squatters have occupied apartment
14:00 - Eat lunch for €4, complain it used to be €2
15:00 - Siesta
16:30 - Join protest against tourists ruining Barcelona
20:00 - Talk with an unemployed friend how Spain has the highest quality of life
22:00 - Have sex with two neighbors while drinking sangria
00:00 - Sleep in a childhood bedroom under a Real Madrid poster
Life in Spain is simply paradise
English

@adilmania @AmauryGrowthPR @ycombinator so accurate
it should be considered as a bonus along the way not as a goal
English

first @ycombinator application ever ✅
first interview ✅
first rejection ❌
reason → "media businesses are hard to scale into something venture-sized on sponsorships alone. the tools side is the more interesting wedge from our perspective"
some thoughts:
1. the interview was so fun with @bradflora 🧡
2. kinda hate how it felt like: "only B2B SaaS businesses matters"
3. wasn't expecting to be selected tbh; we applied with one of our worst videos ever, and many form answers were ChatGPT-generated lol
4. media businesses can scale, but it's a different game, and it works if its played well (hi @MrBeast)
5. someone once said: "make things that don't scale"
and that's our playbook. media is the first step. we will nail it.
then we'll move to step 2: "things that scale".
stay tuned. still day 1.
6. 7

English

@adilmania @ycombinator of course!! but if you need yc, then that's the playbook
English

@AmauryGrowthPR @ycombinator the goal is to build a successful company not to join YC haha

At the $1,2M pitch competition in Malta 🇲🇹 I kept thinking about distribution. How do these startups actually plan to reach people?
The honest answer for most of them is: paid ads, SEO, sometimes UGC, maybe LinkedIn. The usual playbook.
Nobody mentioned Reddit.
Which is wild, because Reddit is one of the few platforms left where you can reach a highly specific, highly engaged audience without an enormous budget. Where your content can rank on Google for years. Where trust is built through genuine community participation rather than ad spend.
Founders sleep on it because it looks chaotic on the surface. But underneath that chaos is literally one of the most targeted distribution channels on the internet.
The ones who figure that out early are the ones who stop fumbling the distribution question.

English

@adilmania @ycombinator still cool man, it's my first time seeing a media business getting an interview from yc
English

@adilmania @ycombinator I also applied in summer 26, haven't got any response till now, I am considering that I am not selected, I had low chances but I applied anyhow.
Can we collaborate?
