@eltrigoo me imagino que op se refiere a cosas que teníamos antes y no apreciábamos: hospitales del gobierno que podíamos visitar en una emergencia, una sequía implicaba un racionamiento y no un mes sin agua, ese tipo de cosas. pero claro que la vida en la colonia siempre ha sido un reto

No creo q esto sea cierto. La mayoría de la población mayor de Puerto Rico también se crió con altas tasas de paro, pobreza, y emigración. Basta leer, por ejemplo, el informe Tobin de 1975 o Freeman & Freeman-Castillo (1992) para contextualizar esta mal llamada “era de oro”.
