We went to a dinner as a group and had a $500 bill. We tipped $40. We were happy we can be able to give our server something, but her reaction was the opposite. She told us she assumed we're going to give her at least $120. When we asked for the manager, she said she was just joking, but she wasn't smiling at all. Idk, but is $40 tip enough for $500 bill? I just feel like expecting $120 is not realistic. ~Lea Robertson

My parents winter in Puerto Vallarta. Have for years. They are currently barricaded in their condo, the military keeping rebels from entering their property. They have food and power, and have taken in 2 women who were stranded. The street below, usually buzzing with life, is silent, apart from the odd car that drives thru. Those people driving are not brave. They are stupid. They are surrounded by rebels, beaten, their cars lit on fire. The Canadian consulate is unavailable. They are getting their information from social media and gov't websites. They are sheltering in place and say they are safe. They have not heard gunfire. We are praying the internet does not go dark. Canada will not be saving my parents or any other Canadians You can keep your elbows up, pay your excessive a taxes, mutilate your children, MAiD your elderly, bash America---and viciously mock their president because CBC told you to. The reality is, when my parents come home safe, it will be by the grace of God and the determination and heroics of America. Canada won't do anything, because it can't I've said it before, and I'll say it again: God Blessed America ❤️🇺🇲

the last flight i went on was 9.5hrs and the woman who sat next to me looked pretty much exactly like this. she sat down and did not move a muscle the entire flight. didn’t eat anything. didn’t get up to use the bathroom for almost 10hours. didn’t even speak. bothered absolutely no one. i will never forget her. i wish i could sit next to her on every flight.
