#BookOfTheWeek is Every Colour of You by @AmeliaMandev! Heartily recommended by a library patron as a heartwarming (and breaking!) story that really brings you inside the heads of its characters.

Harvey Parker is STILL missing two weeks after leaving Heaven nightclub in Charing Cross, London, at 2.15am on December 17.
Police searched the river near Golden Jubilee Bridge, but there were no reports of the 20-year-old being found.

When you buy from a small business...
→ You pay for somebody's child's Christmas presents
→ You put a smile on a struggling business owner’s face
→ You invest back into your local community
That purchase goes a lot further than you think.
Happy #SmallBusinessSaturday 💛

Please stop writing villains as:
❌ Scarred
❌ Disabled
❌ Fat
It’s ubiquitous and lazy.
And sends the message that anyone who *isn’t* is implicitly more trustworthy which is a dangerous message to teach kids.

Writers, filmmakers… stop giving your villains facial scars. Watching a series, Dark, and four of what seem to be villains have heavily scarred faces or a cleft lip. It’s such a lazy, damaging trope snd I can’t believe it’s still heavily used.
