The One Big Beautiful Bill Act included the most important spectrum policy legislative provisions in years, restoring the Federal Communications Commission’s spectrum auction authority and requiring the auction of at least 800 MHz of licensed spectrum by 2034. However, these provisions alone are inadequate for U.S. businesses to meet their ever-increasing need for connectivity.

America’s ability to innovate AI and support reindustrialization relies on the availability of commercial spectrum.

The global economy doesn't "need aliens from Mars to fill jobs," our markets function with the labor available. Likewise, the U.S. economy doesn't "need immigrants to fill jobs." You may prefer cheaper labor. By all means argue for it. But don't say we need it.

"On May 19, 2026, a truck driven by a man named Manvir Singh slammed into stopped traffic on California Route 99 near Lodi, killing two young men aged 16 and 20, and sending five others in separate vehicles to the hospital. Many banks have pulled back from the equipment financing market, in part because of rules that make equipment financing less profitable. The private lenders that fill the gap often charge high rates and have short payback periods, making it very hard for small- and medium-sized businesses to finance the equipment needed for reindustrialization.

Reindustrialization is a matter of economic and national security, the difference between crisis readiness and dependence on foreign adversaries for essential goods.
