The Patrick Kane update is he isn’t in a hurry. I think Buffalo still deserves to be the chalk. My gut says Kane isn’t coming here even if Bedard was healthy. He should have offers from playoff teams. Obviously, the Detroit situation right now is uncertain. The 35 and older contracts are very easy to swallow.

@JFreshHockey better question is why the NHL allowed him to do it. Bryan Bickell played 4 playoff games, 52 minutes, +3, 1 point for the 2010 Blackhawks. Played in the famous Nashville game 5. Hockey-reference credits him w a Cup win for that year. Yet his name isn't on the Cup for it.
