@AmericanNatnl @mtmanjaro10 I don’t think there should be a distinction between a primary and the general election, both involve voting. And VA Dems didn’t deceive anyone. They even put out the map publicly before they vote, which they didn’t have to do.

Wasting no time, @GovernorKayIvey has called a special primary election for the AL-1, AL-2, AL-6 & AL-7 under the legislatively-enacted map from 2023. Those are the districts that changed back. Election will be Tuesday, August 11. No runoff. #alpolitics

@IISheldonII @mtmanjaro10 Primary =\= general, plus something that violated VA state law is not the same as LA state law, + LA had a major court decision that struck down their maps and forced a redraw after absentee voting began and were compelled to redistrict, while VA dems waited to deceive voters.

remember: there is no need for D states to do pizzamanders as long as they get over the mental hurdle of contiguity (which is not part of federal law) - you can draw a very compact IL 17-0 map and add new seats to the Chicago area by giving them satellites downstate

He killed a bill that would have let AI data center corporations destroy farmlands and dodge liability. Then introduced the No Capital Gains Tax on Family Farms Act so farmers can pass land to their kids without the government taking a cut.
