Achieving gender equality in health leadership demands more than promises. I resonated with Prof. @KentBuse, Co-founder at @GlobalHlth5050 statement that it requires individuals and organisations to take responsibility for their actions and inactions. bit.ly/3AnHpZE

I recently attended the #EADialogues2024 in Nairobi 🇰🇪, where I connected with inspiring women leaders & male allies. I truly believe we each have the power to ignite meaningful change; what matters is how we turn intentions into action, both big and small.

Happy to see funding commitments to @WHO, but photo below shows how important it is for @GWLvoices @GlobalHlth5050 @womenlifthealth @PMNCH & all others working for gender equity in global health to keep raising voices around chronic underrepresentation of #women. @FlaviaBustreo
World Health Organization (WHO)@WHO

In a powerful demonstration of high-level support, WHO today received nearly US$ 700 million in new funding commitments from European countries, foundations and others, and another US$ 300 million in reaffirmed commitments. Announced at the WHO Investment Round Signature Event at the @WorldHealthSmt in Berlin hosted by Germany, France, and Norway, the commitments highlighted the urgent need for investments in the Organization’s mission to improve health outcomes worldwide. bit.ly/4dNxwSU
