Vectorized Diffusion without Rasterized Encodings! Scenario Dreamer (CVPR 2025) directly operates on vectorized scene elements to generate novel unseen scenes - making fully data-driven closed-loop generative driving simulation possible. We trained a novel vectorized latent diffusion model to synthesize high-fidelity simulation environments (agents+map). Compared to prior work, we achieve generated scenes with significantly higher quality while requiring 2x fewer parameters, 6x lower generation latency, and 10x fewer GPU training resources. Paired with a Transformer-based agent behaviour model, Scenario Dreamer enables fully data-driven closed-loop generative driving simulation.
