@marclou Hey Marc 👋 Since you weigh 80 kg and I think your body fat is ~10%, your lean body mass is ~72 kg. Research shows protein needs are best based on LBM, not total weight. As an active athlete, you’d need ~2.2 g/kg LBM/day max → ~160 g protein/day max (your new protein goal)

I did another blood test: 👎 too much LDL (bad cholesterol) 👎 slightly high blood pressure 👎 too high AST (liver) So... 1/ I drink almost a liter of full-fat milk a day, and I think it's the culprit for high LDL. To help me out, I've updated BioA.ge to extract the estimated saturated fat from meal photos uploaded and show the daily intake. 2/ I reduced my daily protein intake from 220g to 160g (2x my body weight), which is likely why my liver AST levels are high. I ditched my pea protein supplement (30g/day). 3/ High blood pressure? I have no idea, it's a first for me. I don't feel stressed, I eat clean, sleep well, and work out daily. It could be because I caught a little virus that week. Meanwhile, wife biomarkers are almost all green. Congrats 👏🙇

I outsourced my wife & my biomarkers 🧬 There are ~10 important markers that are easy to track. From now on, we get a blood test every 6 months until we are both in the green zone for all key markers. We rely on the data from doctors, ChatGPT, and @bryan_johnson to decide what's good/enough. - My wife has high cholesterol despite a very healthy diet. We need to work on that. - I have a bit of cholesterol too (maybe it's a sign) and my AST levels aren't good—either because I exercise too much, didn't drink enough water, or genetics.

Finally got Google login working on Expo. It’s not even that it’s complex, there's just too many ways to do it, and only one seems to work. I spent 2 days configuring it. And like… look at the video length of a tutorial that I found: 2 hours just to set up login? Insane.

The Google login (using the react-native-google-signin library) doesn't seem to work with Expo Go, does anyone know the proper way to do it? I don't want to use an Android emulator.

Al hamduli-Llah! After failing the first test phase, the second one was accepted. IlmNote is finally ready to be deployed to production on the Play Store! It was not easy but I understand how to pass the Google Play tests now. Failing = Learning.

I think I found the ultimate strat to get accepted on the test phase (Play Store). - Your testers have to be active - Through the test phase, you have to make an update of your app - Your testers have to install your update to prove they are not inactive And it should be good!

It's been some time that I didn't code, I'm currently on another project that doesn't require much coding, that's why. But I saw my usage this month on Cursor... I think its time to burn some tokens!

@makwired I see, it's interesting. I think we have the same problem here where I live (France). So I think there is also high demand here... Thanks for sharing!

@AmmarSyedK It depends on the country. For example, where I live the law firms operate upon archaic tech, so its easy to automate their processes for a price and there is relatively good demand. Find industries or sectors that could benefit from automation.

Note: If you keep using AI for everything even easy tasks like writing, you might be increasing your risk of Alzheimer in the future. These simple tasks are actually daily workouts for your brain. Skip them, and you might lose more than you think.

@vedanthk_ I agree and even if it perfectly mimics our writing style, it's still not us. Letting AI write for us is basically allowing it to steal our voice, it's like identity theft, in a way. Thanks for the follow! I’ll be sharing regular updates here.

@AmmarSyedK Yes, AI still has it's own "tone" despite giving it some examples. This pivot seems interesting. Following you for updates.

Update #8 on Twiply: Thinking of changing the concept. An AI that replies/posts for you on X is nice but doesn’t feel natural, even if it mimics your tone. It’s just more enjoyable to write yourself. So Twiply will now help you write & get inspired, not write for you.

Update #7 on Twiply: I'm currently having some trouble getting the perfect prompt for my app. So I decided to spend the week learning more about Prompt Engineering. It's really interesting, I might start sharing about what I learnt from this. Very useful.

I just found a professional team that will test IlmNote in the Play Store. To be able to pass the tests phase to publish my app to production. Inshaa aLlah the tests will succeed this time. If it's not the case, this is Al-Qadr (destiny), I will try something else.

Update #6 on Twiply: Today I worked on a new feature: the Weekly Planner! AI will help you plan your tweets for the whole week. ➡️ Swipe right to accept ⬅️ Swipe left to skip The prompt to generate the tweet ideas isn’t perfect yet (working on it), but the concept is here!

Start your PRD with what you know → Write only what you’re confident about → Don’t try to guess or fill in the blanks too early → Build it step by step to avoid hallucination Write your PRD yourself. Use AI to clarify and reformulate, Not to create it for you.
