Last Saturday our voices were loud and clear at the Reproductive Rights Rally in White Plains where we rallied for reproductive rights, abortion access, and the New York State Equal Rights Amendment (Prop 1 – Flip Your Ballot and Vote YES!). We cannot go back!

Thank you to the League of Women Voters of New Rochelle, Scarsdale and White Plains for hosting a great candidates forum! I enjoyed discussing the issues of importance to our community and appreciated the breadth and thoughtfulness of your questions.

Thank you to OCA-WHV for coordinating the annual “Meet the Candidates” forum. It was a wonderful morning where we engaged in meaningful discussion. I appreciate @dearasianyouth Westchester for their on-site voter reg. drive and the attendance of Huaxia Chinese Academy of NY.

I had a great time attending the Scarsdale/Edgemont Girl Scouts' “Democracy for Brownies” event, where I shared my story of being a Troop Leader and how it helped me become an Assembly Member. 1/2

It was wonderful marching in Eastchester’s Columbus Day Parade this weekend and celebrating Eastchester’s Italian-American community! Thank you to the Eastchester Columbus Day Committee and congratulations to the honorees!

It was a pleasure to join the Durga Temple of Westchester in celebration of the festival of Navratri, a dance festival dedicated to Durga, the feminine divine. We danced the night away with the traditional garba dance, celebrating the divine energy of Devi within all people.
