Amelia’s fist calf didn’t make it last year (poor hind quarter development). This year’s calf looks strong and healthy! She’s not the friendly sort, so we’ll have to confirm sex later.

Lots of new and onerous governmental regulations. Early info about upcoming GOP candidates is not encouraging.

Been to Denver twice and I swear every place I went to was like 2:1 or 3:1 guys to girls. I was told by the girls that they call it “Menver”. One of the cities with worst nightlife experience I’ve been to which quite was surprising to me. Was pretty cool town otherwise.

I'd heard how crazy the college admissions process is, but now seeing it in reality has blown my mind. My kid has great grades (4.2 weighted) with a ton of APs, leadership ec's, a very solid athletic resume, parents paying cash, etc., all at a private college-preparatory HS, and she has basically no chance of getting into a UC or CSU for her major. Not sure what needs to be done, but this is crazy. 🙄😩

@DrSuneelDhand AI routinely bungles legal advice; why would medicine be that different? I use AI in my practice, but with the understanding it is a starting point only and must be thoroughly checked.

I have talked to at least two people in the last couple of weeks, no medical background whatsoever, telling me how they are routinely having medical conversations with AI— really happy with the results, and telling me they think it’s way better than talking to their doctor. I really don’t think the medical professional understands what a complete gamechanger we are witnessing. A lot of arrogant physicians out there have no idea what’s coming!

@DustinMeyerTX This happened to us last year with a first time mama. When you first posted, I almost replied, but didn’t because I was so hoping for a different outcome. My girl who lost her calf last year will be calving any day now and there are definitely some nerves.

1) I really didn’t want to make this post. Today, we lost our little bull calf. It hits hard. We bottle fed, massaged his limbs, colostrum fed, lifted him to help animate his limbs. We took him to the vet, where they determined he was never going to be able to stand on his own…

A couple came to me last year They wanted to loan their son $400,000 to buy a house 0% interest. 30 year payback. Honestly it was a brilliant idea. But there was a big problem. They could afford it and it would have saved their son hundreds of thousands in interest. But I had to stop them before they signed anything. The IRS taxes you on interest you never collected. It's called imputed interest. Charge below the minimum federal rate and you get a tax bill on phantom income. They had no idea. Neither did their previous advisor. The bank of Mom and Dad is one of the best moves in retirement planning. Charge the IRS minimum rate and your son still beats any bank in the country. You could also gift the interest payments back to him every year. A married couple can gift up to $38,000 annually tax free. The bank of Mom and Dad just got even better.
