@WilliamCardin9 Cash pay for pain management is a great big red flag to the DEA. They will label you a pill mill due to this. Is discrimination against a group that has no choice. Here in Louisiana Medicaid did not pay for pain management.

This morning I was dismissed from my pain management because they do not take my insurance. I have been paying out of pocket. I said “well can I continue to pay cash?” They said no because if they were audited they could get in trouble. It’s only my life they are ruining.

I’m a former registered nurse & pain pt. 5 years ago I started a registry of of pain patient suicides. I also collect info on MI’s & CVA’s that occur during to occur during abrupt w/d, tapering, & several other non-suicide causes of death.
