@VeteransHealth @SecVetAffairs In my own personal experience, and in helping others Veterans I noticed that the ineffectiveness or inefficiency of the ability to get secondary care, test or procedures done in a timely manner not only delays care, but increases cost. Example: Vet is in need of Cataract surgery, but they said he required a procedure to make sure his heart was in good enough shape for surgery. The cataract surgery was canceled because he was not informed of the need for the procedure. And the VA either didn’t schedule it or didn’t schedule it in time. So he managed to get the heart test done, but the VA failed to reschedule the cataract surgery in time. So again it was canceled for another heart test. Evidently they have to be done by a certain time frame or is considered invalid. So now he’s waiting on a third repeat of his heart test. The extra cost of the heart test is wasting taxpayers money because either the departments don’t coordinate, follow up, etc. And the time previously scheduled for the cataract surgery is potentially wasted. In my former position we utilized Project Management, or Project Managers to meet with the various stakeholders and track progress. Setting deadlines for X, so Y could be done, and keeping Z project on schedule. I’m willing to bet that could be handled for medical care as easily as for Construction, Systems Upgrades, Deployment Preparedness, etc. Either through software or personal; the initial Doctor should have a way to identify what needs to be done, set a go/no go timeline and have alerts set up for tracking events completed on time. In my humble opinion this would not only save taxpayers money on duplication of testing, but improve efficiency and service to the Veterans

@TurdFerguson_01 The VA rates sarcoidosis under 38 CFR § 4.97, Respiratory System, Diagnostic Code 6846. If you’re a Veteran with sarcoidosis of the lungs, you may be eligible for VA disability by proving a presumptive service connection.

@BobNewman978 @VeteransHealth @DeptVetAffairs That’s some BS. Get on their asses, man. It sucks, but I call them every two weeks if I am waiting for claim decisions. I need neuropathy to become presumptive or find some sort of medical documentation linking it during my service. Good luck to me. They don’t document shit.

Over 7 fucking months and the @VeteransHealth and @DeptVetAffairs are refusing to give me my medical records. on my third FOIA for them. These records pertain to the for profit company Veterans Evaluation Services and Veteran Benefits Administration and their need to hide the evidence of my injuries. My 3rd FOIA's for this information and for 2 months they been sitting in Initial review. The VBA is purposely hiding the info so I cant go public with the fact they used unqualified "Providers" paid to play by sending me on dozens of appointments just to bill the VA and make money. The 4 doctors said I deserved 100% for Cardiac Sarcoid, Neuro-Sarcoid, Pulmonary Sarcoid and sarcoidosis.and now the VA is saying no when a total of 1 doctor and 3 Nurse Practitioners said it is debilitating. I been fighting for years to get these things covered from burn pits and the VA along with @SecVetAffairs are covering it up. Chief of Staff told me to get a lawyer and submit a subpoena, for my medical records. This is a violation of Hipaa and the VA is getting away with it.

@VeteransHealth why are you forcing vets to use the VA when you bill our personal insurance. Why don't you allow us to schedule with private facilities through the VA? Why force us to use doctors who we do not trust. It is our private insurance.

@VeteransHealth So there is another new app we have to learn? Is it Tricare online, My HealthVet, or MHS Genesis? The system is broken! There are thousands if not millions of health companies that have streamlined apps. Why is it so difficult for the VA?

I dont know which of you Veterans Depts to tag so im tagging all of you. @DeptVetAffairs @VeteransHealth @VAVetBenefits. Also @USPS @USPSHelp I'll get to you in this post just you wait. im just going to have a little chat with the VA first real quick. So please go ahead and wait like you force me to do everytime when it comes to delivering my VA meds. Whichever VA i tagged that actually responds, i want to say thank you so much for repeatedly screwing me over and over. Thank you for constantly ignoring my wife and i saying dont want ship my meds because they never arrive on time and I need them daily. We would rather drive the 40 minutes to the pharmacy than rely on you two. I wouldnt be here if this was a one time thing! You had this specific medicine put in shipping the day I was suppose to start the refill, which was Wednesday. You didnt even ship it so I would get it on time lol! You even told us its been put in as pick up so we could get it! Then i get a text saying your scripts been shipped!! So we call and the pharmacy just says "Oh no It is listed as pick up, we dont know why we shipped it, we screwed that up! Just drink extra fluids and sleep as much as you can!" God forbid Patient Advocate ever pick up a phone or return calls. Now to you @USPS @USPSHelp. Every month. Literally every month its something. I unfortunately have an auto immune disease which I unfortunately have to rely on different meds. How are half the meds always late? It can never just be one of you screwing up one at a time, its got to be the two of you screwing up at the same time making it even worse. Like last month one of my meds got a 10 day all paid for beach vacation in Florida before returning back to Indiana! Thankfully I can go a couple days without that one. But this one that is currently late I desperately have to have. Its been delayed twice and the tracking shows its in transit to another distributor so that means it will be atleast another day likely 2 before its even ready for delivery! And thats if its not in transit for its own vacation. PLUS ITS SUNDAY SO ADD ANOTHER DAY BECAUSE THE VA DIDNT SEND IT PRIORTY OR WHATEVER. So either of you please tell me what my wife and I need to do better? There is cleary something were doing wrong and we want to fix it. So please tell us! Also @USPS @USPSHelp I desperately need this Medicine. Like no BS, Im out and you have it. I cant Package Intercept. I cant contact anyone cause its Sunday so customer support is closed. I dont know who to contact. I literally will drive hours to whatever to get this damn medicine because I have to have it. So please help get this sorted since you helped causing this issue.
