@GoodWins63270 @lelemSLP @nosmh_x They expelled and/or massacred EVERY JEW from East Jerusalem, the West Bank & Gaza, & then went on to do the same in almost every Moslem country. Jewish refugees got no permanent refugee status, billions in world aid for 75 years, reparations for their confiscated $ & property.

This isn't a partisan complaint. A federal judge Trump himself appointed, in Rhode Island, found DOJ lawyers withheld information and misrepresented facts to get subpoenas for a hospital's transgender patient records, then referred them for possible discipline. Another Trump appointee, in Indiana, ordered a Milwaukee Mosque leader released from ICE custody after DOJ tried to hide behind the same defense. A Bush appointee who clerked for Scalia called a set of subpoenas against Minnesota's political leaders blatantly unlawful and unethical. ProPublica found more than forty cases since Trump's return where judges explicitly question whether the government can still be presumed to act in good faith, a doctrine so foundational it rarely came up in court before now. In one case a judge caught DOJ claiming a detainee had a 2009 drug conviction. He would have been four years old. A former Bush appointed federal judge put it plainly: in the entire history of the Justice Department, nobody's seen anything close to this.

Judges have called President Donald Trump’s Justice Department “unlawful,” “unethical” and “unseemly.” Now, they’re questioning if government prosecutors can be trusted. propublica.org/article/justic…

For the record, someone elected President is a public servant. He’s not there to steal from the public or stuff his own pockets. Donald J. Trump needs to be held accountable for abusing the office and taking our money.

The polite Western version pretends the obstacle is “settlements” or “Netanyahu.” The honest version is what Pinker just said: a Palestinian state run by people who openly want Israel gone would simply become the next launching pad for more October 7s.
Steven Pinker@sapinker

When I ask Israeli colleagues why there isn't movement toward a 2-state solution, they say, "Because a Palestinian state would instantly be taken over my Hamas, who would launch nonstop suicide bombings, rocket attacks, and 10/7s in a campaign to destroy Israel." The response of Western pro-Palestinians: "Yes!!!!" | Is the Pro-Palestine Movement the Israeli Right’s Unlikely Ally? open.substack.com/pub/quillette/…

BREAKING: The New York Times is reporting that at least seven states have had their water infrastructure targeted by Iranian cyberattacks. Yesterday, Trump baselessly blamed Minnesota for the attack instead of Iran because he doesn’t like Tim Walz.

NEWS: Trump vetoed a bipartisan water project he'd promised Coloradans. Now, according to Lauren Boebert, the real reason wasn't the fiscal concerns his official veto message cited. She says she was told it was retaliation over Tina Peters, the election clerk convicted over the 2020 voting-machine breach, sitting in jail. meidasnews.com/news/lauren-bo…

This assclown is sticking with the bullshit story even AFTER trump's own DOJ said it was NOT vandals. In fact, they said it was because the Department of the Interior withheld infor -- ohhhh. Dougie is Secretary of the Interior. He should RESIGN immediately.
Secretary Doug Burgum@SecretaryBurgum

The evidence is clear, vandals have repeatedly caused damage to the Reflecting Pool. Some of these acts were even caught on camera. We also provided the U.S. Attorney's office expert and eyewitness testimony to the damage done by vandals and provided every piece of evidence they asked for in the requested time line detailing each area of damage at the pool. The Reflecting Pool is part of the Lincoln Memorial and dates back to 1922. @POTUS cares deeply about protecting our sacred national monuments and his leadership has led the restoration of our Nation's Capital by Making D.C. Safe and Beautiful Again. Intentional damage done to the Reflecting Pool is no different than defacing any one of our other national monuments. We won't back down to deranged people who want to destroy, deface, or degrade our monuments.

Trump didn’t want to admit that he personally hired an unqualified contractor who screwed up the Pool and cost taxpayers millions. So instead he had the hack Fox host who he installed as US attorney indict an innocent man so he could blame him and others for his own incompetence.

Nöam, a well-known Montréal kosher restaurant on Décarie Boulevard, was burned to the ground overnight. Nearby surveillance footage shows a man pouring accelerant and deliberately setting the restaurant on fire, according to reports from The Suburban. The owners are Shomer Shabbat and may not even be able to review the footage or fully absorb the destruction of their business until Shabbat ends. The Jewish community of Montréal will stand together, support them and rebuild. In one way or another, Nöam will emerge from this stronger and more glorious than ever. Because this is what we do. As for the motive, we already know the ritual that will follow. We will be instructed to remain calm, suspend judgment and wait patiently before calling a spade a spade. But let us remember the context in which this occurred. For nearly three years, Montréal’s Jewish schools, synagogues, community institutions and businesses have been threatened, vandalized, shot at and set on fire. Because “Free Palestine.” Because “From the river to the sea Palestine will be free.” Because Jew hatred has been excused, normalized and allowed to spread without meaningful consequence. Each incident may require its own investigation. But the broader pattern does not cease to exist merely because every individual perpetrator has not left behind a written manifesto explaining his intentions. There comes a point at which the demand for infinite proof stops functioning as legitimate caution and starts functioning as social permission to remain blind. Whatever this investigation ultimately establishes, the owners of Nöam will not face this alone. The Jewish community of Montréal will rebuild, as we always do. But our resilience should never be mistaken for an obligation to remain silent about the conditions that made an attack like this ultimately foreseeable. We will rebuild. But we will not remain silent.

🚨 The DOJ just missed a major Epstein deadline. New Mexico requested unredacted Epstein files after reopening its Zorro Ranch investigation. The DOJ didn't comply. The real story is no longer Epstein... It's why the feds are withholding evidence that could help identify additional victims, witnesses, or co-conspirators in an active criminal investigation.

On This Day — August 1, 1298 One of the great Torah scholars of his generation was murdered with his entire family. In Nuremberg, a mob butchered 48-year-old Rabbi Mordechai ben Hillel, his wife, and their five children. Their crime? They were seven of the 628 Jews in the city who refused to abandon their faith. This was part of the Rindfleisch massacres, a wave of coordinated slaughter that began in April 1298 after a host-desecration accusation. A man known as Rindfleisch claimed a divine mission to wipe out the Jews and led mobs from town to town across Franconia. The Jews of Nuremberg took refuge in the fortress and tried to defend themselves. Some Christian citizens attempted to help them. It was not enough. The attackers forced their way in and slaughtered them. Rabbi Mordechai was a student of Rabbi Meir of Rothenburg and related to the Rosh. His writings would later be cited throughout the Shulchan Aruch. On August 1, 1298, the scholar, the husband, and the father of five was cut down with his family for remaining Jewish. The Rindfleisch massacres of 1298 destroyed roughly 146 Jewish communities. Nuremberg was one of the bloodiest days in that campaign.
